Optimal operation of the gas distribution network

The program minimizes the gas leakes in a distribution network, by changing the output pressure of the regulators in city gate stations, depending on changes in gas consumption. A program using steady state simulator of the network, determines the optimum setpoint values for the regulators taking into account operating constraints imposed on the network: gas velocity in the pipes and the pressure values at selected points in the network.
